Corey is a beautiful dark chocolate Labrador with a sweet temperament, strong retrieving drive, a constant companion and simply brightens my day. Whelped on November 10, 1998 at Hunt Club Labradors in Zionsville, IN, Corey is now training for her JH.
2001 On 10/13/01 Corey earned her first leg, on her first attempt, towards her JH at the National Specialty Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. held at Three Oaks, MI under judges Steve Bernock, Thunder Myst Kennels, and Terri Pardee. Working Certificate Intermediate (WCI) Corey passed the WCI (AKC Junior Hunt Level) under judge Chris Cornelius at the HLRC, Inc. Hunt Test at Black Rock Farms on 9/8/01. Working Certificate (WC) earned on 10/07/00 on first attempt. Sponsored by Hoosier Labrador Retriever Club and judged by Chris Cornelius, Kirklin, IN.
Obedience.. On February 24, 2002 Corey received the Achievement Award for successfully completing the requirements of Super Open I - Good Open Obedience Training Practices. Watch for Corey in the Open ring this fall. On 10/18/01, at the National Specialty Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. Corey earned her CD Title with a FIRST place finish in the Novice A Class held at Valparaiso, IN under judge Ms. Suzanne Hemminger. On 9/30/01, at the Terre Haute Kennel Club, Inc, in Terre Haute, IN, Hunt Club Miss Corey WCI, WC, CGC / TDI earned her second leg towards her CD Title under judge Patrick J. Higgins. On 9/29/01, at the Hoosier Kennel Club, Inc, in Terre Haute, IN, Hunt Club Miss Corey WCI, WC, CGC / TDI earned her first leg towards her CD Title on her first attempt under judge Lorraine Fitzgerald. Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI) earned May 11, 2001 at the Miami Valley Specialty. Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate was earned on 05/17/00. Clearances OFA cleared with "good" hip joint confirmation 12/20/00 #LR-110600G24F-T Elbows checked on 12/20/00, cleared with no evidence of dysplasia, #LR-EL11953-T CERF clearance given on 11/14/00, #LR-28103/2000-24 Re-certified on 11/13/01 by William A Vestre, DVM DACVO, Indpls., IN 317.577.1201, both eyes normal |
